onbar - restoring old dbspaces into a current system

An application we have has progressed from c-isam files to an Online instance. In the past there have been times when a set of files ( now grouped into dbspaces ) had to be restored from previous years so that aged reports could be run. This was relatively easy using the filesystem, but does not seem that simple with Online. With other instances I rely on ontape for the backups but think that onbar may give the flexibility to carry out the above task, BUT ... With onbar will I be able to restore a dbspace of several months previous from a level 0 archive, into an instance where other dbspaces are at the current date? Transaction logging is turned on for all databases so will I have problems with the logical logs? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Graham Bartlett If Emailing remove the X
