WARNING cs.c Unrecovered medium error ..... The OS Software at the driver level is trying to inform you of unreliable disk sectors. Read up on dkformat and you will find that these bad sectors can be mapped out of service and an alternate sector will be assigned. BTW *if* the drive being utilized for the database *is not* your system's boot device you can reclaim the first 34 blocks which you are not using.
