What was that old saying: "Those who can't do; Teach"... ;-P Actually if I could get out doing and just teach I'd be happy as teaching is far more rewarding to the spirit. Alas I spend most of my time doing and it was my team the was the first to implement RAC on Mac. So plane tickets from Seattle to Florida are being purchased now for a full commercial implementation next week. I may not be able to make you envious of Oracle as compared to Informix but I bet I an get your interest about the hardware. Now that Oracle runs on the Mac I can implement a 4 node cluster with dual 64-bit 2.3GHz P5s and 5.6TB of disk for less than $35K including the fabric switch. And I am. ;-) Well ... lets get back on topic, eh. -- Daniel A. Morgan University of Washington damorgan@x.washington.edu (replace 'x' with 'u' to respond)
