NewEra Q: Application Server

Hi, evaluating NewEra, we try to understand how the communication between a client and an application server works. As far as I undertsand, pure TCP/IP based communication is used. Does anyone has experience with this topic to share? Any performence issues? Realized an application server on HP-UX 10.x? Does an option exist to use a TP monitor like Tuxedo? Thank you, Jens
