Re: Synchronizing IDS between HP Itanium and Risc

Dbexport and reload with dbimport. To minimize work, you can keep two dbexport
data sets and beat the files against each other to find only new or modified
rows in each file and create a set of net data files to reload using Jonathan
Leffler's sqlupload utility (package sqlcmd).
Another option for fast imports is to get my dbexport/dbimport replacement
utility, myexport (which also requires sqlcmd, Ravi Krishna's myonpload
package,
and my myschema utility in the utils2_ak package), and use it with the -H and
-p options to restore after dropping the previous upload of the database.

We have two installation of IDS 10.00 FC5 one on HP Itanium server
(production) and the other on HP PA Risc server (test).
We use onbar to backup the instance on the itanium server.
Question/Problem: How do we sync the database on the risc server with that on
the Itanium server?
Limitation: ER is not an option
Schedule: We want to do this activity daily as a End of Day activity
Any help will be highly appreciated.
