IUS+Web Blade Assert Failed

I am getting repeated assert fails (80 per day!) caused by a web page SQL select statement failure due in turn to a straight forward row/table lock problem (-243). The Informix logfile contains "Assert Failed: pthdrpage:ptalloc:bad partn page" Has anyone seen similar symptoms ? Does any use the web blade with no problems ? This failure is starting to cripple our production system, Informix tech support are looking into it but are taking their time.
