CASE, code generator and Informix 4GL?

Is anyone out there using a PC (DOS/Windows/NT) based CASE tool that does code-generation, resulting in Informix 4GL code? Is there such a beast? The Informix 4GL (and soon 4GL++ (New-Era)) seems to generate good deliverables, via C source-code, but doing the design work in 4GL is "less than ideal". Even 4GL++ is no better than PowerBuilder for high-level (CASE) design work. Can the humble PC handle CASE->Code_Generator->4GL->C->.exe or must I have $50,000.00 of Unix software to do this?
