Replication using 7.23UC4 ....Question...

In the Informix ODS, Admin Guide Version 7.2, Volume 1, pg 30-4, "Meeting Hardware and Operating-System Requirements, bullet 1.... The computers....servers must be identical (same vendor and architecture). Question: Does this mean I can Replicate data between all HP servers of different classes, K420 to D class type servers. I guess a more in-depth definition of "architecture" would be the question.. Thanks for your help Tim Jones
