Consider switching to the QueriX 4GL clone which *is* available for SCO and which has already implemented the mid-century switch - i.e. if you enter a two digit year less than 50 it prefixes with 20 and greater than 50 it prefixes with 19. (Actually the switch point is 49 - looks like an off by one error :-) ). QueriX will also let your 4GL code talk to an Oracle database rather than Informix should it become desirable, or essential...
