This stores web pages in the database as a defined type of HTML. There is a provided function called expand and a new set of HTML tags. The software then reads the page using :- select expand(Page) from pagetable where pageno = somevalue. The expand function then reads the page and executes the SQL statements returning the data to the browser. A page defined as follows :- <p> Your name and address is <SQL> select name, address from customer </SQL> would have the obvious effect of displaying the customers name and address. The customer number being passed in via CGI. I don't know what Informix's position is on the addition of blades to the Universal Server, however, I am sure someone out there does !
