This cannot work, since the .dat and .idx files are where the Informix
SE database engine places and manages its data. The ODBC driver needs a
database engine to connect to, it cannot work directly against these
files.
Either get Informix SE for your Win95 system, or use the "dbexport" command
on your unix system to unload the data into flat ascii files which you
can then transfer to your Windows box for further processing.
