Vertias Netbackup Policy/schedule?
Hi everyone. I know this may be a little off topic. When using Veritas netbackup with Onbar does anyone know where the backup schedule info is kept? I believe it is the so-called POLICY file but I can't find that file anywhere. Thanks, Will
It is in Netbackup Policy. Hi Will, In earlier releases of Netbackup < 4.5 (ish) policy info was stored in a readable config file. As of later releases these config files became binary, and only editable using the provided tools. Latest release, I believe they've moved into an SQL database, (mysql, I think), the only supported way to edit them is through the provided tools. If you just want to view the policy and schedules, assume you have commandline access try "/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpadm", wade thru the menu's you should find it Regards Andy WILL LANDSTROM wrote: > Hi everyone.
