Print screen in I4gl (fgl_prtscr)

In the IIUG archives there is a function called fgl_prtscr() which is very useful to print 4gl screens, for example to a printer on the host machine. This has worked quite well for years. Upon upgrading to Informix 4gl version 7.20, however, fgl_prtscr() doesn't work properly anymore, spewing out alot of extra gibberish when display attributes are used. Apparently the function accesses some 4gl internal undocumented stuff so it's really not too surprising that it doesn't work properly anymore. Does anyone have a solution to this? The code, which is incomprehensible to me, was I think originally contributed by Dave Snyder - are you there Dave? Is there a new version available? Thanks for any input, John H. Frantz
Solved the problem. Apparently some short variable had been changed to long in I4gl version 7.2 which had to be taken into account with fgl_prtscr(). Specifically, the following changes in fgl_prtscr() works for I4gl 7.2: #define CHAR int #define _ATTRIBUTE (0x007f0000) #define _CHARACTER (0x000000ff) #define _GRAPHMODE (0x00800000) "John H.
