Hi !! Hope someone can give me some useful tips on the following issue. I am have an Informix 5 database. I use INFORMIX-STAR and INFORMIX-CLI for connectivity. I can connect to the database using INFORMIX-CLI from my PC but I can't do so from the UNIX machine on which the database resides. CLI is installed on that machine & am using the sample ADHOC application supplied by informix to test this connection. I have the proper entries in the .odbc.ini file and it is in the user's home directory. It can also locate & load the odbc libraries and driver libraries. When I run the application I get messages that the client is not trusted by the database. Thanks Chaminda Peries Dynasty Technologies Inc.
