Informix DS 7.30 / AIX 4.3.1

If you are wanting to use KAIO then you have to use the character devices. I've not had any problems using these devices and KAIO works well. As long as you configured the device correctly using smit or command line, there's really no reason why it shouldn't work like a dream. Was there anything particular that you are concerned about ??
