Making one a function of the > other won't help. <sig clipped> We had the same problem with a table maintenance calling a query module where the query module had to stand alone. Our solution was to use a small main program which did nothing more than call a function to do all the work. The main function would call the first primary function and if need be would call the second function ( all linked together ). If you need just the second function, you use another small main that just calls the secondary function only. You have only one set of source code to maintain, but you have two entry points.
