Does anyone have or know how to get Informix 9.21FC7 download? Also is there a way to tell from an Informix backup file what OS the backup was taken on? This is an audit requirement and all they have is an Informix ontape backup, no other information. Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, Using dd and strings will give you a lot of info. Someone once handed me a box of unlabeled tapes and asked me to help restore a system. Used dd to read the first page of each tape and run it through strings. Talk to support about 9.21FC7 .
