Is there any way to do this? The SQL command you're looking for is LIKE. WHERE column LIKE "DAV%" % matches 0 or more characters, _ matches a single character. How you use it depends on how you are implementing your retrieval form. In a related question, does anyone know if you can set querymode to use LIKE instead of =?
