Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi:
I am trying to build in just a little bit of informix into a heirarchy
of c++ classes I'm developing. I'm trying to use Jonathan Leffler's
esql++ approach (http://www.iiug.org/techinfo/faq/ifaqn.htm#APPN). I
have successfully compiled testapp, but it fails with ISAM error -369
when executing the line
EXEC SQL DATABASE stores;
The minus sign on the error tells me something is way off here, but I
can't see through it!
On a related topic, do the c++ object interface libraries come in a
version compatible with gcc-2.8.1, platform sparc solaris 2.6? Ours seem
to be set up for the Sun C++ compiler, which we don't have.
