Hi all, sometetimes we're running into a strange problem: under heavy loads a java application leaves hundreds of files named ifxb_mainxxx. This files contains the text blob column of one of the tables used. Somehow this files are not deleted as in normal workload. We're using an IDS 7.31.FD7 on a Solaris 8 System. The application is running java version "1.4.2_08" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_08-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_08-b03, mixed mode) JDBC.2.21.JC5 Did someone got the same effect and knows a way to stop this? Thanks in advance Axel Sander

Hi Alex. How about using 2.21.JC6 ? You can get JDBC 2.21.JC6 as below. http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/preconfig.jsp?id=2004-10-26+12%3A06%3A04.140769R&S_TACT=104CBW71&S_CMP=&s= -- Tsutomu Ogiwara from Tokyo Japan. >From: Axel Sander <axel-sander@web.de> >To: informix-list@iiug.org >Subject: ifxb_main files not deleted under heavy load >Date: Thu, 25 May 2006 20:45:24 +0200 > >Hi all, > >sometetimes we're running into a strange problem: >under heavy loads a java application leaves hundreds of files named >ifxb_mainxxx.
