JOB: Informix-4gl programmer

Eden Systems, Inc., a leading supplier of Informix-based financial applications for government agencies, is currently seeking qualified Informix-4gl programmers for immediate full-time (non-contract) employment. Primary duties will include: enhancements to existing applications, maintenance programming of existing applications, conversion programming (converting data from legacy systems to work with Eden applications), and new 4gl program development. Required experience: - 2+ years of advanced Informix 4gl programming - Advanced SQL knowledge - Basic Unix system administration - DBA experience with Online (5.x, 7.x) Desired experience: - Programming of financial applications (GL, AP, AR) - preferably fund accounting - Development using Fourgen CASE tools Qualified candidates must be able to work independently with a minimum of direct supervision.
