Sql -408 Error

Hi anybody willing to help. We got a SE7.2 running on a SCO Box. and Clients running Informix COnnect with Delphi Sqllinks. Our 4ge programs were compiled (version 4.*) when we run on the unix bo it was okay. But when we run from the Clients we got the sql 408 errors intermittently, ANybody with such experience .
