Unfortunately, I missed the first part of this discussion concerning the outer join bug so I'll just give my slant on things. We are currently running version 7.10.UC2 on an HP T500. The application we are developing performs selects and updates to a 5.0 database across synonyms. We have found that when performing 3 table outer joined selects using these synonyms, our server crashes repeatedly after some time. On the good side, Informix has dialed into our server and finally been able to reproduce our scenerio in their labs. A patch is forthcoming.
