Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I am having a problem getting an external function (written in C) to
correctly use the 'seek' functions like mi_lo_readwithseek() and
mi_lo_seek(). The problem appears to stem from the mi_int8 *offset
value. What is offset (is it bytes, bits) and what is the difference
between that and seek_pos? I can do a bunch of mi_lo_read()s to get to
the spot in the blob that I want, but that seems ridiculous and slow.
Otherwise I get memory failure errors. Can anyone provide an example of
how these functions are used?
Thanks.
Jack
