onbar for logs - sysutils db full - Help!

Not an expert or user of onbar. I have a informix user who's dba left and their system is a canned application, that has onbar (called from ALARMPROGRAM) to back up TX logs. It is kicking out the following messages and logs are not being backed up. I warned them that when all the logs fill, the database will stop. A quick check shows entries in bar_action (?) table from 2006. Is there a delete SQL to clean it up some, assuming we don't try to break any referential integrity? They have a doc from the vendor that makes reference to 'onsmsync'? this generally means you have run out of disk space. onbar insert data into the sysutils database, not much. While I am not sure of your version and if you are using cooked files or raw devices. My best guess is that you will need to add a chunk to the rootdbs using the onspaces command. Note: onsmsync will delete old entries from the sysutils database for which the storage manager no longer has tape/media for, including the bar_action table. John F.
