the .dat file is only for SMS spaces ... if you have DMS spaces you will
have files like the chunks u define in Informix.
What are you looking in the page structure ?? Are you looking for a page or
are you looking something similar to oncheck -pe output.

Subject: db2 database physical structure ?
Dear Gurus,
I have just started to learn db2 and created a database. What i have
realized was , for each database , db2 created a new directory and for
each table , new .dat file. (like our Standard engine) . Is this the
only way or am i missing something? If so , is there any page
structure in db2 as in Informix 5.x,7.x,9.x .
Good old informix........
Bye,
hope
Hi Gurus,
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind Regards,
hope
