Ceri,
Looks like your have a runaway process. This happen when a fron-end process
like dbaccess or 4GL dies without killing it's children processes. Check
the PID of the job that's taking up so much time. Find it's PPID (parent pid)
Check to see if the parent PID is running. If you can't find it, or if the
PPID of the sqlturbo is 1 (root), you probably have a runaway process.
Check to see if the runaway process either holds a latch or is in a critical
part of the code (flag includes "X" on tbstat -u). If not, kill the turbo
with a kill -15 and wait for it to go away.
What version of 5.02 are you on. If it's less than 5.02.XX6, it may have
serious memory leaks and other bugs. Go to 5.03.
Good Luck
Joe
