In earlier versions, at least, onstat -g dri as a status line at the
beginning which indicates Online(Prim.) if the server is running or
attempting data replication. That and the description of the Paired
server should indicate whether you have Replication that is off or
that it has never been started. There might be some variation
in the message depending on your DRAUTO setting. We trigger monitoring
messages from a cron job that runs onstat -g dri and e-mails warnings
based on the onstat -g dri status of the primary as discussed above.
