What I want to do is select a text BLOB from Table A and insert it into Table B where Table A has 40 columns and Table B has 4 columns. Also, one of Table B's columns needs to include a descriptor label that indicates the section of Table A that the BLOB was taken from since I need to remove three different text blobs from Table A. I think I need to use the unload/load commands and do some intermediate processing of the unloaded data to get the proper descriptor label set for loading into the new table. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
