They have the front-end INFORMIX 4GL shoulda had. This was/is such a great product the most computer-illiterate person could develop applications with it. In fact, this guru had to train people that had no experience with computers, and they were developing apps in no time. I saw it on an older ATT 3B2, which was slow, but this product was put together with some brilliant minds. Anyway, if you're using the Accell/Unify I'm talking about, the best you can do is: 1. Find out how to generate a schema with Accell/Unify, and generate an SQL schema script. 2. Make screen dumps to the printer of your application. I don't think the screen source code is accessable, is it? 3. Create the data base in INFORMIX. 4. Start coding with the INFORMIX 4GL. I don't have the email address of the guru, sorry. Accell/Unify is another one of those products that was ahead of it's time, and from what the guru told me, overpriced. The closest thing I saw to Accell/Unify is Progress, but not as good.
