Drop db spaces in 7.13

Recently, we have upgraded our application from Informix 5.0 to 7.13. In 5.0 we were able to drop db spaces without dropping the database; however this does not work under 7.13. Unfortunately, the way how our application is setup requieres to unloaf each db space (or tables within them), then drop all db spaces, and finally unload the database itself. With 7.13 this scheme does not work anymore. Does anybody know how to get around this limitation. Our goal is to unload the entire database (including seven db spaces) from a development instance into a larger production instance. In the production instance all db spaces reveal a different size then in dev instance. May be anyone knows a different solution for this instead of unloading the db spaces seperately.
