Hi, Pankaj Here I ask some questions you tell me *Why are you trying to modify fields ? We want to develop new features to our system and we won't develop them with Baan, we want to develop them in anothers tools but we want to use the Baan tables, we won't duplicate the tables to work with tha data. *Are you trying to modify using sql statements ( Not recommended) or are you using general table mainteance? Now we do modifies in Baan tables directly from Informix, but we only can do modifies in fields no hash. For example, to change the prices of some products,... Our limitation is with the fields of some index, we can't modify them because we don't konw the hash algorithm to do it correctly. *I need more Info on what you are trying to do. We currently run Baan IV b3 & c3 both under a level 1 Driver. Now, from another tool (like Powerbuilder), we see the Baan tables, we can read them, we can delete them and we can modify some fields (the no hash fields). We want to develop complete new features, with inserts and modifies all the fields. So we need the hash algorithm to do this. In future, with Baan IV and level 2 driver you can delete the fields hash and you can do all out of Baan. If you upgrade to level 2 you could do the things that I said, but we can't use level 2 because it's only available to Baan IV (it is not available to Triton 3). The solution of Baan Spain is upgrade Triton 3 to Baan IV, but it's impossible for us because our Triton 3 is not the standar version and we have a lot of personalized programs that we can't adjust (only the 30% of our Triton is standar, all the rest is modified for us and we have a lot of new features built with Triton).
