etc/install: etc/brand: 0403-006 Execute permission denied on AIX 4.3.3 and Informix IDS 9.4

Is IDS 9.40 that you have the version for AIX 4.3.3, or is it only for AIX 5.x? If the bundle installer isn't working, you may have to resort to separate manual installs, simply so you can fix the permissions on $INFORMIXDIR/etc/brand before running it. However, I have my suspicions that neither it nor any other executable in the package will run on your version of AIX.
