ALTER TABLE

Hello, I want to set in a procedure the tables NEXT SIZE. I use : ALTER TABLE table_name NEXT SIZE number table_name and number are variables, the procudere complains about the number variable, it doens't like the number variable. When I replace the number variable by a real number like 16 the procedure is oke. My question is: is it possible that the number part of the ALTER TABLE ... statement is a variable in procedure.
