JDBC timestamp escape format

Hi, what is the JDBC timestamp escape format of the Informix drivers? The standard one does not work: {ts 1999-12-31 00:00:00} my column is of DATETIME YEAR TO FRACTION(5) type and I get the SQLException: ERROR: Error in timestamp format "1999-12-31 00:00:00" I have tried many variations of this format but no way to make it work.
