Number of Arguments to a C function in Custom RDS Runner

I may have skipped over something, but is there a way to pass to a C function an unknown count of arguments? The C function is within the RDS custom runner. I have the C function accepting it fine and works great in i4GL ( compiled format ). There can't be such a limitation, can there?
