Do I need to monitor unused memory by each session !

Hi All, I am a newbie here. We use IDS 7.30 on Tandem C52 ( a UNIX variant ) . Do I need to monitor unused memory ( Total - used ) in each of the sessions. Our software is supposed to run continuously for months. Thanks in advance. Vishwajit.
