data insertion in multiple sbspaces

Dear All, I'm working on IDS 14.10 using Solaris 5. I've created a table and need to store the data in multiple SBSPACEs, used below syntax: create table "informix".cs_csid_phto_00 ( seqn Integer not null, phto_file clob not null ) PUT phto_file IN (sbs001, sbs002, sbs003) extent size 1024 next size 1024 lock mode row; Config Changes: but when I checked, all the sbspaces, only sbs001 had been used Could someone please help to know me how can I distribute table data in multiple sbspaces. Hi Amit, How exactly did you populate this new table after creating it? Where did the sblob data come from, and what precise syntax or technique had been used? What you're describing sounds like that PUT clause got ignored during sblob creation and instead the SBSPACENAME configuration got picked. Dear Andreas, Sorry for late reply. initially there was one another table where the data was in text column. Later created new table cs_csid_phto_XX and the data was being inserted from TEXT column to new table cs_csid_phto_XX after decrypting it via base64 mechanism. We were thinking to fragment the table in three SBSPACES, so gave above format to create table with multiple sbspace. SBSPACENAME parameter also taking one 1 values as default. We checked all in Google. But currently only SBSPACE sbs001 is taking all the data, other dbs002 , sbs003 are still empty. Data is not being fragmented to other sbspaces.
