Select failing when using >0 vers 4.13
Hi can anyone help.
I have a site who have just installed Informix 4gl RDS vers 4.13 SE
running on a Sun 201 with Solaris.
There appears to be a problem when trying to select records
where decimal amounts are greater then zero..
SELECT * FROM grni
WHERE company = g_comp_no
AND haul_flag = "N"
AND order_amount > 0 ### order amount is decimal(10,3)
The above select will not find records. If we change the last line to
AND order_amount != 0 then we get our records.
This bit of code is out of a program which works fine under Informix vers 1.03 running
on a Mips 2001 and also on a SCO box. The code also works fine with Informix vers 4.1
on a SCO box...
The select will not work within the program or if it is typed into dbaccess
Has any body else experienced this problem.. we are a bit concerned as we have a large
base of software some of which uses a status variable which we test by using < and > .
Any help would be appreciated.
