PERFORMANCE TUNING SEMINAR - OKIIUG
Posted in 1998
The second annual Informix Engine Tuning and Performance Seminar will be held on Saturday, January 31, 1997 from 8:30 a.m. ~ 4:30 p.m. The seminar will be conducted by an outside consultant that specializes in Informix engine work. He is also a certified, current Informix instructor for all engine administration, performance, and tuning classes. This is the same instructor that conducted the seminar last year. The seminar has been updated to include up to version 7.24 ODS. Extensive personal question and answer time is provided to explore other issues and/or versions/products. THIS IS NOT A TEXT BOOK BASED SEMINAR!!! This is a real world issues seminar, with experience being the guide rather than a text book. As with last year, seminar materials will be provided, and lunch is included in the cost. Last year's seminar was well attended, from as far away as Texas! This year will be updated to include all current releases of Informix. As a bonus item, an additional free seminar is included that will cover Stored Procedures, Triggers, and advanced SQL. This additional seminar will be scheduled by the attendees to match everyone's schedule. Many thought that last year's seminar was more helpful in day to day operation than any class they had taken previously. This year promises to be even better!
