How to connect with ODBC

Hi, i've installed Informix 7.24UC1 on SUN Solaris and try to connect to it with COLD FUSION 4.0. But I can get no connection via ODBC. I tried it, like Allaire descriped it in its Knowledgebase, but it doesn't work. Is there something i have to configure on informix? Like an ODBC.INI???
