I am about to develop an in-house client(PC)/server(Unix) that will connect to an Informix DB running on a Unix/Solaris 2.4 machine. I would like to write the code in Visual Basic 4.0. The clients will be Windows 3.11 or Win95 machines. Has anyone had any success connecting to an Informix Database with VB. What components do I need in addition to VB? I am running the SE 7.1 engine on a Solaris machine. Informix told me all that I would need is I-Net/CLI. However, I have not been able to get I-Net to work with Win3.11 or Win95. Could someone please steer me in the right direction?
