In 7.x run dbschema on the table with the -ss option
or you can also look it up in the system catalogue
(systables.locklevel). I don't know if this works in
5.x

Item Subject: Viewing existing lock mode
Hi,
I was also wrestling with the same problem below
-- I'd like to know
what granularity of locking is currently being
used. We're running
On-line version 7.12. Any help would be much
appreciated.
Thx

We are trying to find out if a table in the database
has row, table or page locking. We are running with
on-line version 5.02. Is there anyway we can look
this up on the current database? Thanks for your
help in advance.
