I did this some years ago, and a new version of SE caused it to fail, at which time I discovered I was coding into a bug. Unless you've seen it documented, I would say that creating a temp table in one database and switching to another database and using that temp table is not supported. Back then, one couldn't even use UNLOAD and LOAD statements in 4GL, so I had to grab an array-full of data at a time to do data transfer. ============================================================ Dennis J.
