Senior Repository Architect

Senior Architect Senior Architect will be responsible for working with the Software Engineers in designing and development of the repository architecture including the imformation management system, the foundation objects and the information processing components. In addition, the repository will need to be integrated with the agent architecture developed by the middleware team in order to provide support to agent requests. Familiarity with ORDBMS OODBMS, C++, Java, SQL3, KQML, Java, CORBA, and OpenDoc is desirable. Conceptual and practical understanding of current database architectures including ORDBMS, OODBMS, and MDDBMS Understanding of Interoperable Component Architectures and Distributed object computing Knowledgable in OOA/OOD, middleware tools and C++ Knowledge of OpenDoc, Broadway, Active-X, Macromedia and associated technologies would be a plus Software Engineer - Foundation Objects Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of the information management layer which abstract the underlying object-relation and object-oriented database from the application. In addition, they will develop a set of foundation and information processing components which will provide context-based information containers and the ability to compose processing components into higher level objects. Familiarity with ORDMS, OODMBS, C++, Java, CORBA, and OpenDoc is desirable.
