Under SE, you have the following options (at least) 1. CLUSTER INDEX. Create
a cluster index (preferably by dropping and recreating an existing index. On
completion, ALTER INDEX TO NOT CLUSTER. 2. ALTER the TABLE, increasing the
size of some column. (Alter it back, later) 3. UNLOAD the data. Unload the
schema, including all constraints on it (both ways). Drop and create the
table. Load the data back. Caution : dbschema will NOT return FOREIGN KEY
constraints of other tables on this one.
Option 1 is probably the preferred method - you could gain a double benefit if
the index you use clusters the data 'appropriately'.
