RE: Problem on running "set explain on" statement.
You may want to read through the UNIX Products Installation
Guide. If you install an earlier version of an application
development tool than the database engine most likely you
need to reinstall the database engine. And if you have any
network or distributed product, those are installed last.

}I have Informix Online 5.00 UC3 and I-4gl RDS 4.10 UE2 running on
}UNISYS 6000/65, OS is Unisys Unix System Release 4, Version 1.2
}Take 11.1 and 2 processor. I don't face any problem running the
}"set explain on" statement when i run the dbaccess. Recently I
}just install the I-4GL ID 4.11 UC2 and I-SQL 4.11 UC1 on the
}server. Everything is running well except I cannot run the "set
}explain on" statement any more. The error message I got is :
}"581: Error loading message file". Could somebody tell me how to
}get it run as usual. Somebody say I need to reinstall the Online
}engine again. Is this the only way ?
