When does the table size limit of 32 GB go away? I know in IDS 9.4, large chunks (>2GB) are supported, but what about the 32 GB table limit? According to the 9.40 64 bit release notes on my HP-UX system (ids_unix_release_notes_9.40.txt) , you still have a 32Gb limit per *fragment*, as set by the limit of 16,775,134 pages. That means if your large tables are un-fragmented (for instance, all in one dbspace), then you still have a 32Gb limit, so you would need to fragment any table that threatened to get bigger than that. I just realised that this limit would apply to my installation as well soon, thanks for warning me!
