IDS 11 on Power PC - ppc64

Dear all, I have installed - Informix 4GL Development 7.32 FC3 Linux Power Architecture 64bit US English Informix 4GL Runtime 7.32 FC3 Linux Power Architecture 64bit US English IBM Informix Dynamic Server 11.10.FC2 however when i try to initialize the instance i get the below error - onstat: error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory once again when i try i to intialize, i get - Unable to dynamically load ELF library (libelf.so) Have check for all the libraries and found them. Can you please advise if i am missing something. Appreciate your help. Regards, lloyd

Hi, I'd say: - Verify the environment variable LD_ASSUME_KERNEL is not set... You shouldn't need it if you are running on one latest version of Linux kernel and glibc, and Informix products supported on these latest Linux. - Verify you have all the requisites indicated on the machine notes (under $INFORMIXDIR/release/en_us/0333) for the 4GL and IDS you installed, in terms of supported kernel, glibc and upgrades, etc. - Verify the LD_LIBRARY_PATH env variable is correctly set, when using 4GL, to: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$INFORMIXDIR/lib:$INFORMIXDIR/lib/tools:$INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH Hope it helps.
