I dont believe that anybody has been doing kill -9's, etc but we can certainly use this method to try and force the error in the test if we cant make it fail any other way. Thanks for confirming our impression that it is a shared memory problem, now all we have to do is find out whether it is Turbo or the O/S or the users or a hardware failure or something else! Do you pray? I couldn't get my mailer to send direct despite several hackings at your address any suggestions?
